Reception Marking Independence Day of Bangladesh

Bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and Bangladesh continue to develop in areas such as culture, the arts, education, defence exercises and recruitment of skilled workforce. The High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Brunei Darussalam spoke of the development at a reception marking the 48th Independence Day of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Jerudong last night.

 

 Representing His Majesty's Government was Yang Berhormat Dato Paduka Doctor Awang Haji Mat Suny bin Haji Mohd Hussein, the Minister of energy and Industry.  In his address, His Excellency (Rtd) Air vice Marshal Mahmud Hussain, expressed appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and His Majesty's Government for giving the opportunities to professionals, students and workers from Bangladesh to share their expertise and skills in the country.
