KG KIULAP, BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

The Body Shop Brunei has decided to sponsor special goodie bags for the first 200 She Runs Charity Fun Run 2016 registrants.

Taking place at Fitness Zone, Kiulap, the handover was attended by Managing Director of Fitness Zone, Wu Chun; General Manager Del Alfaro as well as Head of Operations of The Body Shop Brunei, Josephine Padilla and Store Manager from The Body Shop, Dayang Norimasuziana binti Lasim.

"The Body Shop is proud to be one of the sponsors again," Padilla said. "This is a chance to contribute to local communities and charities."

The goodie bags will include merchandise from The Body Shop and special 20 per cent vouchers.

Body Shop would also be offering free makeup sessions during the event.

Wu Chun thanked The Body Shop for their "undivided support".

Set to take place on May 15, the second all-female charity run aims to raise funds for two non-government organisations - the Children's Cancer Foundation (YASKA) which supports children diagnosed with cancer and their families while they undergo treatment, and for the Special Olympics Brunei Darussalam (SOBD).

Online registration at sheruns.com.bn has commenced and will conclude on April 10.

The number of participants is limited to 1,500.
