A Chinese woman has been detained for an offence under the Section 94-A of the Penal Code. The arrest was made by the Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Unit during a raid at a hotel in Jerudong.

 42-year-old, Zhao Caixian was believed to be involved in immoral activities. The accused and the evidence were detained pending further investigation. If found guilty and if it was a first offence, the accused would be liable to a fine of not less than 500 dollars and not more than 5 thousand dollars, and one year imprisonment. For the second and subsequent offences, the accused would be liable to a fine of not less than one thousand dollars and not exceeding 10 thousand dollars and three year imprisonment.
