Congregants from six mosques in Mukim Kilanas participated in the Hijrah Walkathon 'Minal Masjid Ilal Masjid' in conjunction with 1447 Hijrah New Year, 28th June morning. The walkathon began at Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Kampung Bebatik-Kilanas and ended at Kampung Bunut Mosque. Such an event acts as an appreciation of the spirit and sacrifice of the migration of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam.

 

Among the participants was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. It was jointly-organised by Mukim Kilanas Consultative Council, mosque under Mukim Kilanas and supported by the Department of Mosque Affairs, Ministry of Religious Affairs. Also in attendance was Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin, Member of the Legislative Council.
