Media Conference On Latest COVID-19 Situation

400 new COVID-19 cases were reported yesterday, taking the total cases in Brunei Darussalam to 136,374 cases. Of the new cases, 366 were from ART results uploaded to the BruHealth App, while 34 were from 603 RT-PCR lab tests. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health stated the matter at a Media Conference on the Latest COVID-19 Situation yesterday afternoon at Dewan Al-Afiah, Ministry of Health.

 

1 case is in Category 5 that requires treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.  Meanwhile, 737 cases have recovered, bringing the total recovered cases to 132,721, with 3,440 cases remaining active. 59 cases are in hospitals, whereas 3,381 cases are currently on home self-isolation. As all Vaccination Centres are closed for two days in conjunction with the beginning of Ramadhan 1443 Hijrah, no vaccination coverage will be reported until the Vaccination Centres reopen today, 5th April 2022.
