BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

Three local men were sentenced to 30 months' jail and two whips by the Intermediate Court after they were found guilty of breaking into a house at night to commit theft.

Judge Pengiran Hajah Hanani binti Pengiran Haji Metussain handed the sentence to Harisin bin Haji Raub, Mohammad Hardi bin Hamidon and Muhammad Suhaimi bin Muhammad on finding them guilty after a trial conducted by DPP Ratno Haji Zaidi.

The trio, along with a fourth defendant who had been sentenced earlier and currently serving jail, broke into a house at RPN Kampong Pandan, Kuala Belait in the wee hours of June 21, 2014 and committed theft.
