Goats Say ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ For Delaying Trains From Kentish Town

The goats were not #sorrynotsorry

Goats who delayed train passengers by grazing onto the track want you to know that they’re really, really… not bothered, actually.

They got onto the track somehow between West Hampstead Thameslink and Kentish Town, and forced trains to change their journeys.

Some services had to be cancelled while others were simply delayed.

Whoever owns the goats had a sense of humour about it, though.

They made handpainted signs saying: ‘Wer yoo delayd on Fryday coz ov us?

‘It seems those cheeky goats have been busy making you all a little sign,’ Kentish Town City Farm said.

‘We asked them for an apology, but it seems naughty goats will always be naughty goats.’

The three goats – Rosie, Ronnie, and Hope – went missing on Friday morning and were found wandering near the train tracks.

Luckily, none of the goats were harmed, and all were herded back into their home.

‘Thank you to Network Rail, East Midland Trains and Thameslink for swift support to get all our escapee goats back into the farm this morning,’ the farm tweeted.

‘All counted for and none badly hurt! Does anyone know any good welders?’

‘We hope commuters were not held up but thankfully no goats hit as originally reported! Thank you to the super helpful train drivers and engineers who pulled together to get them all in.’
