BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

16 graduates who have completed their studies locally and overseas will operate a restaurant at the Departure Hall of the Brunei International Airport.

The proud achievement is in response to the desire of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to see youths being involved in generating the country's economic growth. The graduates have been trained under the His Majesty's Office.

The graduates also expressed their thanks for His Majesty's continuous care and attention towards the well-being of youths such as them in the country. Dayang Nurul Majidah binti Awang Zakaria, the restaurants Guest Service Officer in yesterday's Rampai Pagi programme explained that the aim of the restaurant's opening is to provide employment to the graduates. It is also a platform for the graduates to explore beyond their comfort zone. The restaurant's uniqueness is because it is fully operated by graduates from various universities.

Meanwhile, Awang Mohd Ashrafil bin Mohammad Ariff, the restaurant's Chef explained the official opening of the Tarindak Ungkayah Graduan restaurant will be held on 6th January at the departure hall of the Brunei International Airport. The restaurant will be operational as soon as it is officiated and is open daily from 7 in the morning until midnight.
