Accio Kleenex! Fans are going to do some sobbing if they see the new play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," J.K. Rowling promises.

Get ready to drown your sorrows in a giant mug of butterbeer, Harry Potter fans. Author J.K. Rowling is promising more tears.

"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," a new two-part play based on a story by Rowling and focused on Harry's son Albus, opens at London's Palace Theatre July 30. And just in case fans were hoping for a happy little tale about the next generation of Potters and their contented place in a peaceful magical world, well, just Expelliarmus those ideas right out of your little Muggle head.

On Friday, a Twitter user named James (Harry's late dad, is that you?) tweeted at Rowling, asking if the new play would make him cry. Her response was typical Rowling.
