The ceremony was in line with the aspiration of His Majesty so that the country continues to gain blessings from Al-Quran. It also reflects His Majesty's vision that emphasises serious attention towards Al-Quran need to continue as well as efforts to plan and implement appropriate programmes.

Al-Quran is also a source of reference for the country's administrative policy that is directed to the objective of maintaining the journey and development of the religion and faith of Muslims in the country, until the constitution which is the nation's highest source of law has declared Islam as the country's official religion.

Apart from blessings and rewards from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala gained by reading Al-Quran, participation at the grassroot level and the public specifically school students is a manifestation of the people's loyalty to the Monarch, religion and nation.
