The Quadruple Helix model should be explored and further developed in order to produce an innovative product. The Minister of Education highlighted that the Quadruple Helix approach which involves the interactions and strategic alliance between academia, industry, government and the community, can potentially stimulate the innovation-based industry that can contribute to the country's economic diversification. Yang Berhormat Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman urged relevant stakeholders to work together to enhance and empower the innovation ecosystem to ensure that the country's aspiration for a knowledge-based economy can be realized.
