Continuous self-introspection, cleansing one's heart and protecting one's heart from envy by reciting zikir to Allah are among the matters that should be practiced as a muslim. Reciting zikir to Allah can help to better oneself as zikir can assist one in cleansing the heart. This was among the contents of a Special talk in conjunction with the Israk Mikraj celebration delivered by a guest speaker from Indonesia. The special talk was held last nighT as the Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Mosque in Kampung Sungai Akar.

Abdul Somad in his talk entitled "Peristiwa Isra' Mi'raj" touched on the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam's biggest miracle that has never been bestowed to any prophet previously. The event of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam's journey from Masjidil Haram to Masjidil Aqsa, portrays the multitude of major and important events that occurs in the history of Islam. The event provides teachings to the muslim ummah so that they will always become closer to Allah by performing numerous religious acts to prevent oneself from carrying out sinful and deviant acts.

More than 3 thousand people attended the talk. Among those present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin Bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Defence and Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
