Islamic Calligraphy, Painting And Art Exhibition

In conjunction with the 78th Pakistan Day, the High Commission of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Brunei Darussalam yesterday morning held an Islamic Calligraphy, Painting and Art Exhibition at the Malay Technology Museum in Jalan Kota Batu.
Present at the ceremony was Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. In his welcoming remarks, His Excellency Retired Major General Tariq Rashid Khan Hilal-e-Imtiaz, the High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam, among other things expressed gratefulness to the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, for extending maximum possible help to the Pakistan High Commission in their endeavours to strengthen both bilateral relations in as many fields as possible. Both countries have an excellent relationship which has grown stronger over the years, in terms of political, economic and socio-cultural cooperation. The exhibition is open to the public until the 30th of this month.
