An Indonesian man was sentenced to 5 months imprisonment and 3 strokes of the cane for an offence under Chapter 17 of the Immigration Act.

39 year-old, Mohammad Samudji, was found guilty for overstaying in the country after his work pass expired for 2 Thousand 5 Hundred and 13 days. The defendant was apprehended on 17th January this year at a rented room in Kampung Pasai, Sengkurong.
