An early morning fire at a bank at Jalan Indica in Miri Waterfront here today destroyed three automated teller machines (ATMs), three cash deposit machine and a cheque deposit machine.

No injuries were reported in the 2.25am incident.

A team of five personnel from Miri Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba Miri) rushed to the scene upon receiving a distress call at 2.28am.

The room, where the machines were located, was 90 per cent destroyed.

Police are still investigating the cause of the fire.
