At another part of the Istana Nurul Iman, Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam received Madam Ho Ching, the spouse of His Excellency the Prime Minister of Singapore.

Her Majesty also received Her Royal Highness Sophie, Countess of Wessex, the spouse of His Royal Highness the Earl of Wessex. Accompanying Her Royal Highness was Mrs Xanthe Lindsay, spouse of the British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam.
