Another 17 newly appointed security personnel of the Koperasi Rimbun Berhad (KOPRI), received certificates after completing their six-day training course in an official ceremony held at the company's headquarters in Berakas.

Present to hand out the certificates to the recipients, in his capacity as guest of honour, was Dato Paduka Haji Alias bin Syeikh Haji Ahmad, Director of Finance of KOPRI.

Throughout the course, held at the KOPRI Security Personnel Training School, the participants were trained on safety and identification, the use of walkie-talkies, patrols, log records, the rules of hoisting and lowering the national flag, and other important matters related to ensuring the protection of lives and properties.

The six-day training was facilitated by retired personnel from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and Royal Brunei Police Force who shared with the participants their knowledge and experiences.

The training also sought to expose the participants in identifying and responding to certain types of emergency situations.
