BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

In conjunction with World Intellectual Property (IP) Day, the Brunei Darussalam Intellectual Property Office at the Energy and Industry Department, Prime Minister's Office, BruIPO in collaboration with Big BWN Cookout, the operator of Kontena Park, hosted an Intellectual Property Open Day. The Open Day was held at the Anggerek Desa Technology Park.

The Open Day aimed to promote awareness and create exposure on protecting intellectual property rights, such as trademarks, copyright, industrial designs, patents, and plant varieties protection. Vendors comprised of up-and-coming micro, small, and medium enterprises took part in the Open Day.

Also participating were registered Intellectual property owners such as UDRA Enterprise, who has successfully patented and commercialised their window shade; Department of Agriculture and Agrifood for their 'Good Agricultural Practice certification mark; and NHS Creation for their made-in-Brunei handicraft and traditional hand-woven fabric products. The Open Day provided an opportunity for the public to enquire any IP-related matters.
