Raya get together hosted by RBAF's 56th Intake
Islam encourages the ummah to foster relations as it is one of the keys for receiving blessings and assistance from Allah the Almighty. Yesterday, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF 56th Intake organised a Hari Raya Aidilfitri Get-Together for personnel and their families.
The function is a continuation of aspirations from the Goodwill Meeting that was held on January this year. Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Singamanteri Retired Colonel Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin Bin Haji Umar, the Minister of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister's Office as one of RBAF's 56th Intake, and Yang Berhormat Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
At the Get-Together, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports and Datin presented Hari Raya packets to 26 children. Earlier, a Doa Kesyukuran was held in conjunction with RBAF's 56th Anniversary. The function among other things aimed to foster and strengthen relations among personnel and their family members, and instill the culture of visiting one another, forgiveness and helping each other.
