Ministry Of Education Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Get-Together

In welcoming the arrival of Syawal, one of the most significant months in Islam, the Ministry of Education held a Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Get-Together for the ministry's staff. The function took place yesterday at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah School's Multi-Purpose Hall.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, the Minister of Education. Also present was Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, the Deputy Minister of Education.

The Get-Together was further enlivened with a Nasyid competition. The function is one of the ministry's annual activities as a show of gratitude after performing the fast in Ramadhan. Apart from that, the event also inculcates the culture of forgiving one another and benevolence among the ministry's staff. The Get-Together was co-organised by the Schools Inspectorate Department, the Special Education Unit and the Science, Technology and Environment Partnership, STEP Centre.
