Kembara Amal Ramadan Youths Programme

​More than 200 youths in the Belait District took part in the tadarus ceremony organised by the Ministry of Culture, youth and Sports through the Kembara Amal Ramadan programme. They represented technical education institutions, secondary and Arabic schools, the Islamic Studies Department and the Mosque Takmir.
Among those present was Awang Haji Noor Jusmin bin Haji Abdul Samad, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The function began with the reading of surah Al-Fatihah and coincided with the Khatam Al-Quran. It was aimed at encouraging youth involvement in religious activities, to enhance and strengthen understanding and cooperation among agencies related to youth education development in line with the programme's objectives.
The function ran concurrently with the reading of tahlil and presentation of contributions for the use of the mosque. Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Hamid bin Haji Mumin, Member of the Legislative Council and Awang Haji Harris bin Othman, Belait District Officer.
