​365 participants were celebrated in the Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony for Religious Teachers for the Brunei Muara District Zone 4, comprising 18 religious schools in conjunction with the blessed month of Ramadhan. The function took place this morning at the Multipurpose Hall of Pengiran Anak Puteri Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam Religious School in Kampung Mulaut.

The function began with a reading of Surah Al-Fatihah, Al-Quran verses, Doa Khatam, Tahlil and Doa Arwah. Present was Dayang Hajah Norjarah binti Haji Luidin, Acting Assistant Director (professional), Islamic Studies Department. It coincided with the presentation of souvenirs and donation amounting to one thousand five hundred 64 dollars to fire victims from Kampung Limau Manis. The event was aimed at encouraging religious teachers to read the Quran and making it a culture in their daily life aside from increasing religious deeds in Ramadan through Al-Quran reading and completing it.
