Sabah To Remain As BN’s Fixed Deposit — Ramlee

 May 22nd, 2017  |  07:58 AM  |   2264 views

SEMPORNA

Sabah, including Semporna, will remain as a fixed deposit for Barisan Nasional and Umno in the upcoming general election following the continuous support received from the people.

Sabah Umno deputy head of information Datuk Ramlee Marahaban said research may show otherwise, but he is confident as BN and Umno community leaders are the closest to the people.

Ramlee, who is also Assistant Finance Minister, said Umno and BN have also conducted a research and the result had been encouraging as it showed the people are still with Umno and BN.

He said Umno and BN were still chosen by the people because the service given to them could be felt at all times, not only during the election season.

“We (community leaders) often meet the people, talk with them and are able to read their hearts through their expression. That is why I am confident with the research carried out by Umno.

“I believe that people are wise in making decisions and Umno and BN will remain as their choice as this party has proven its ability to lead the country,” he said when officiating the Youth Carnival organized by the Youth Member of Parliament with the youth associations in Semporna on Saturday. — Bernama
