LAND AND HOUSES Plc’s chairman and chief executive officer Anant Asavabhokhin, 67, is a major shareholder in the company, which is among the top three listed property firms on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

 

Anant is also director of Land and Houses Bank Plc, Home Product Center Plc and Quality Houses Plc. Land and Houses and its CEO are major shareholders in all three.

 

He was ranked by Money & Banking magazine among the top 10 high-value shareholders invested in the Stock Exchange of Thailand from 2003 to 2016.

 

In 2016, Anant ranked as the fifth richest person in terms of share |value with total listed securities worth Bt25.60 billion, up 11.2 per cent from 2015.

 

Last year, Forbes magazine ranked Anant as the 26th richest person |in Thailand, with total assets of US$925 million (Bt33 billion).

 

He has two sons and one daughter – Achawin, Achanan and Alisa.

 

Anant still oversees a business empire that covers the property sector, retail, banking and hospitality. The business group has a market value of more than Bt50 billion.
