A 41-year-old Indonesian Ustaz was on Wednesday charged with outraging the modesty of a 25 year-old-woman.

The case was adjourned to April 27 in order to allow for further police investigations into the case.

Muhammad Mandi is accused of touching the breasts, kissing the face and lips of the victim, and forcing her to touch his private parts while they were in a kitchen at a house in Berakas at 1.11am on March 13, 2016.

Magistrate Azrimah Abdul Rahman ordered the defendant to be remanded in custody while investigations take place.

DPP Nurjauinah binti Haji Kula prosecuted the case.
