Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan yesterday launched the `Tajmeel Kuliyyah At-Tarbiyah' project, a renovation to provide a cosy learning ambience for its students and residents.

The project was held at the Faculty of Education of KUPU SB.

Present as guest of honour and launching the event was Acting Ra'es of KUPU SB, Dr. Haji Adanan bin Haji Besar.

Dayang Nurul Hayat binti Haji Md Kassim, chairperson of the organising committee in her speech, explained that the renovation project for the Faculty of Education was carried out under the School Co-Curriculum Management for Students of Post-Graduate Diploma in Religious Education Course.

The course was coordinated by Ustaz Haji Roslan bin Haji Untong who is also the advisor for the project.

She added that the project also aims to inculcate students of KUPU SB to protect the green environment and at the same time to create awareness on the importance of keeping their surroundings clean.

During the ceremony, the guest of honour also planted the. Longan seedlings while the Assistant Ra'es of KUPU SB, Dr. Abang Haji Hadzmin bin Abang Haji Taha planted the soursop seedling.
