The Brunei International Airport Surau Takmir Committee on 6th July night organised a Lecture with the Deputy State Mufti in conjunction with the Ilal Hijriah 1447 celebration at the surau.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. The lecture was delivered by Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain@Maidin, Deputy State Mufti. The event aimed to disseminate information on Ilal Hijriah, its meaning, values and wisdom in the context of Islam and daily life.
