To instil patriotism and love for the beloved monarch among primary school students, a Flag Hoisting Ceremony was held on 2nd July morning, in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday Anniversary for the Zone 3 Mukim Level. The event was organised by Kampung Sungai Bunga and Pudak Consultative Council as well as Tanjung Kindana Primary School.

Among those present was Yang Berhormat Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat, Member of the Legislative Council. The event coincided with a flag presentation to 14 selected heads of families. It is hoped such an event will foster close ties and cooperation among members of the Village Consultative Council and nearby communities.
