Dato Othman Primary School Kampung Lambak Kiri also held a National Flag Hoisting Ceremony in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday Celebration.

The national flag raising ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Daud bin Jihan, Member of the Legislative Council.

The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association, 1st July morning, also held a flag raising ceremony in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday Celebration. The ceremony was officiated by members of the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University's Rover Scouts. Present was Awang Haji Junaidi bin Haji Hussin, Chief Scouts Commissioner.
