His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Chairman of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Committee of Governors, attended a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with His Royal Highness' 42nd birthday celebration. The ceremony organised by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah took place at the Yayasan Complex in the capital, 1st July afternoon.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs as members of the Yayasan Committee of Governors; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi Bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors, and Doctor Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary for Planning, Land Use and Environment at the Ministry of Development as the Acting Managing Director of Yayasan. The reading of Surah Yassin and Doa Kesyukuran was led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustapa bin Haji Murat who also led the mass Fardhu Asar Prayer.

His Royal Highness then cut the royal birthday cake and received a pesambah. His Royal Highness also presented house keys under the Yayasan Housing Scheme to five underprivileged families from Brunei Muara District, Belait District and Temburong District.
