Beach Cleaning Campaign

In conjunction with World Oceans Day, the Fisheries Department, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, in collaboration with Poni Divers, held a Beach Cleaning Campaign. It took place at Maragang Beach.

 

Among those joining was Awang Haji Mohd Yusree bin Haji Junaidi, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. Over 900 kilograms of marine debris were collected during the campaign, mostly plastic waste. It was one of the activities of Brunei Ocean Week.
