​The Welfare Body of Penghulu Mukim, Village Heads and Heads of Long Houses in Belait District, PEKERUPA, held PEKERUPA Carnival 2025 at Jalan Sungai Kuala Belait area.

With slogan "Mapit-Mapit Li Long Belait" or "singgah-singgah tah ke Belait", the carnival was launched this morning by Awang Abdul Walid bin Haji Metasan, Permanent Secretary for Municipal and District at the Ministry of Home Affairs. Also held was the 12-kilometre cycling expedition and sales booth by 60 local entrepreneurs including 1 Village 1 Product entrepreneurs.
