'Operasi Bersih'

Two companies and four Indonesian citizens were issued compound fines for offences under the Miscellaneous Offences Act during 'Operasi Bersih' in Kampung Tagap, Jalan Selayun, Mukim Sengkurong recently. The operation was carried out by the Licensing and Enforcement Division, Brunei Muara District Office in collaboration with enforcement officers from the Royal Customs and Excise Department, the Labour Department and the Department of Immigration and National Registration.

 

Syarikat Lyt Enterprise and Syarikat Haji Mahmud, each issued a compound fine of $2,000. Meanwhile, Nyoman Adi, Darman, Moh Samit and Suparni, were each issued a compound fine of $500. The companies and individuals were given seven days to settle the compound fine.
