​Eight groups comprising the secondary schools, sixth form centres and higher education institutions participated in 'Mari Berbalas Puntun' activity held at the Balai Sarmayuda, Language and Literature Bureau, Berakas, 22nd May morning.

Present was Hajah Dayang Haireni binti Haji Awang Damit, Acting Director of the Language and Literature Bureau. 'Mari Berbalas Puntun' activity is implemented as a medium to increase interest among the younger generation, to know and master the art of quatrain. 'Mari Berbalas Puntun' organized by the Language and Literature Bureau through the Research, Documentation and Recognition Division is one of the activities of the Brunei Malay Quatrain Festival in the form of a competition.
