The Brunei Institution of Geomatics, BIG in collaboration with the Board of Valuers and Estate Agents, Bo-VEA and AVA Brunei Branch organised a Seminar themed 'Revolutionary AI For Property Valuation and Strata Title Management'.

It is part of an effort to continuously enhance professional competence besides supporting and assisting the government to provide understanding to the general public about geomatics matters such as Strata Ownership and Real estate valuation using artificial intelligence, AI.

The one-day seminar was held at the Ministry of Development.

Present was Doctor Dayang Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary for Planning, Land Use and Environment at the Ministry of Development.

The seminar focused on two main fields namely property evaluation and strata ownership management.

Thomas Gibbons, Director of Thomas Gibbons Law, Auckland, New Zealand highlighted on unit entitlement for strata ownership management. Meanwhile, Doctor Matthew Ng, Scientia Fellow at City Futures Research Centre, University of New South Wales, Australia discussed the use of machine learning algorithms in property valuation.
