Memorandums of Understanding Signing Ceremony

​His Majesty and His Excellency then witnessed the Signing Ceremony of two Memorandums of Understanding between the Government of His Majesty and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand. The Memorandums are 'Memorandum of Understanding on Tourism Cooperation between the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism of Brunei Darussalam and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand' dan 'Memorandum of Understanding between Brunei Investment Agency, BIA and Thailand's Government Pension Fund, GPF'.


Signing the 'MoU on Tourism Cooperation' on behalf of His Majesty's government was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism and His Excellency Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand.


Representing the government of His Majesty for the MoU between BIA and GPF was Awang Haji Sofian bin Mohammad Jani, Managing Director of Brunei Investment Agency, BIA, while the government of Thailand was represented by Mr. Songpol Chevapanyaroj, 'Secretary General of Government Pension Fund'.


Following the Signing Ceremony, His Majesty viewed a Thai Handicraft Exhibition showcasing local handicraft products.
