Some 250 hampers were distributed among patients at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital yesterday, in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

Acting Chief Executive Officer (Special Grade) of RIPAS Hospital Abdol Hazis bin Haji Ahad, as guest of honour, along with Royal Brunei Culinary representatives distributed the hampers.

Patients received the hampers at male medical ward 3, 21 and 22; female medical ward 4, 19 and 20; male operation ward 6, female operation ward 7, male sub-acute renal ward 17, female sub-acute renal ward 18, gynaecology ward 31 and 33 and the Acute Paediatric Unit.

The event aimed to bring Raya cheer to the patients and their family members who are not able to enjoy the festivities at home. – Rokiah Mahmud.
