​The afternoon session continued with deliberations of issues under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Several Members of the Legislative Council raised a number of queries, such as the high cost of performing haj that was inquired by Yang Berhormat Dayang Hajah Safiah binti Sheikh Haji Abd Salam.

The Minister of Religious Affairs explained that several factors that cannot be controlled is the issue of residence, namely hotels in Makkah, Madinah, Arafah and Mina, but the price can be negotiated. Another factor is transport, either from the airport, hotels, travel to Arafah and Mina and others.
