​Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad bin Abdullah @ Lim Swee Ann touched on the management of 'tanah wakaf' or endowed land. The Minister of Religious Affairs clarified the matter depends on the true meaning of the endowment itself.

Yang Berhormat added if it was meant to build a mosque or surau, then it should be fulfilled. If it is pending, there must be efforts to build the facility but it still depends on the location and size of the land. If the location already has a mosque, then it is not actually required. For example if it is just an acre, parking will be an issue.
