Signing Of Memorandum Of Understanding

The Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE and Brunei LNG Sendirian Berhad, Brunei LNG have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish cooperation for technical skill competency development and the use of IBTE's facilities. The event was held at a hotel in Jerudong this morning.

 

The MoU signing was witnessed by Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications. With the MoU, both parties will collaborate for the use of IBTE's training facilities at the IBTE Sultan Bolkiah Campus and assist in providing skill development training including industrial training to IBTE and Brunei LNG trainees. The MoU is expected to benefit more than 700 students and technicians by 2035, forming a skilled workforce for Brunei's energy industry.
