An Indonesian man was sentenced under the Immigration Act, Chapter 17 for overstaying in the country after his immigration pass had expired.

45-year-old Tonce Anton was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment and 3 whippings. The violation was discovered during the 'Operasi Bersepadu Sakat' conducted recently in Mukim Kianggeh.
