Muslims are reminded to preserve the sanctity of Aidilfitri by always maintaining manners and etiquettes in celebrating hari raya. Do not mix the right and wrong actions. The matter was among the contents of Friday Prayer Sermon titled, "Menjaga Kesucian Aidilfitri" or Preserving the Sanctity of Aidilfitri.

According to the Imam or prayer leader, among the etiquettes are: Firstly, giving salam or greetings and asking permission before entering the house that is visited. Secondly, knocking on the door or ringing the doorbell gently just enough to be heard by the host or occupants of the house. Thirdly, introduce yourself first before entering. Fourthly, it is recommended that the visitor seeks permission three times. It should be remembered, for those who wants to go visiting to choose a suitable time to visit. Indeed, choosing the suitable time can provide an opportunity for the host or occupants of the house to be ready to receive visitors comfortably. Remember, what is important is that the event must follow the teachings of Islam and no mixing of right and wrong actions, such as free mixing and the shaking of hands between non-mahram men and women and having fun without limits.
