Twenty athletes from Special Olympics Brunei Darussalam (SOBD) and Tzy Wei, a representative from the Children's Cancer Foundation (YASKA), were at Fitness Zone yesterday for a round of fun fitness activities with its Managing Director, Wu Chun.

The fitness activities are a weekly routine for the SOBD athletes. Besides engaging people with special needs in physical activity, they also provide a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

In a press statement, Wu Chun said he was also "really delighted to see the staff of BMW (the title sponsor) joining in those activities. People with the same mission and passion can make a difference in our society when united!"

SOBD and YASKA are the beneficiaries in Fitness Zone's charity run, 'She Runs 2016', which is scheduled for May 15.

A few days ago, the club opened up another 500 slots due to public demand, but closed registration once the target of 2,000 entries was met.

Payment has been extended until April 18.
