MUARA TEWEH, KN – For the sake of people who care about the environment, Babinsa Koramil 1013-05/Gunung Purei Serda Arifin provided environmental counseling at the Lampeong I Village Office, Gunung Purei District, North Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan Province, Thursday (22/09 /2022).

Also present were the Head of the Environment Service, Gunung Purei Sub-district Head, Gunung Purei Police Chief, Babinsa 1013-05/Gunung Purei, Lampeong I Village Head, Head of Darlog, BPBD resource persons, Environment and Scouts kwarcab.

BPBD, Environment and Kwarcab Scouts who were the resource persons gave material on the importance of protecting the environment such as not littering/disposing in the available special places, sorting waste, maintaining the quality of water sources, not damaging the environment, PHBS, healthy latrines, and etc.

In his statement, Babinsa Serda Arifin said that this counseling is very good to be held so that villagers become aware of the importance of the environment for them and are committed to protecting it as best they can.

"I am happy with the counseling from BPBD, Environment and Kwarcab Scouts, hopefully the villagers will become aware and will commit to seriously protect their village environment so that a healthy Lampeong I Village is formed for its residents," said Serda Arifin.

The Head of Lampeong Village I was happy and grateful for this counseling, he said that this activity was solely for the good of the village and its residents.

"Thanks to BPBD, Environment and Kwarcab Scouts who organized counseling activities in our village, hopefully this activity can bring goodness to Lampeong I village and all its residents here," concluded the Village Head. (RAMLI)
