A local man was thrown behind bars fdr four months after being found guilty of assault on his wife. Muhammad Syafiq Aswandy bin Muhammad Hashim @ Sumping failed to prove his innocence on DPP Rozaimah Abdul Rahman's charge against him of slapping and punching his wife. The victim sustained injuries from her husband's blows.
