His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), received in separate audiences newly-appointed envoys of Brunei Darussalam and outgoing foreign envoys at Qashr Al-Meezaan yesterday morning.

According to a press release from the Prime Minister's Office, His Royal Highness first received in audience Awang Abu Saari bin Haji Ali, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Belgium; Datin Paduka Malai Hajah Halimah binti Malai Haji Yussof, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to France; Pengiran Hajah Faezah binti Pengiran Haji Abdul Rahman, Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to Asean; Dayang Hajah Masurai binti Haji Masri, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Bangladesh; and Dayang Norazlianah binti Haji Ibrahim, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Timor-Leste.

Abu Sufian, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Belgium, previously served as Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, while Datin Paduka Malai Hajah Halimah, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to France, formerly held the post of Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Philippines.

Pengiran Hajah Faezah, Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to Asean, previously served as Director of Policy Planning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade; whereas Hajah Masurai, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Bangladesh formerly held the post of Senior Special Duties Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade; and Norazlianah binti Haji Ibrahim, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Timor-Leste, was Deputy Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The newly appointed envoys of Brunei Darussalam received their Letter of Credence from His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on August 13, 2016.

His Royal Highness then received in audiences outgoing foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam.

His Royal Highness first received in audience H. E. Nguyen Truong Giang, the outgoing Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Brunei Darussalam who presented his Letter of Credence to His Majesty on September 29, 2012.

His Royal Highness then received in audience H. E. Mohammed Abdul Hye, the outgoing High Commissioner of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Brunei Darussalam who presented his Letter of Credence to His Majesty on September 29, 2012.
