Someone Revealed What Owls Look Like Without Feathers And No One Could Handle It

There are some things there is no going back from and seeing owls without feathers is clearly one them.

 

At least that is if the reaction to Dana Schwartz’s tweet of a picture of a featherless bird is anything to go by.

 

The author shared her discovery on Sunday and Twitter had a little bit of a meltdown.

 

At first she followed up her picture with this. ..

 

And then everyone reacted.

 

For some owls will never be the same again.

 

And there were those for which it was too much to handle

 

Either way, it got people thinking ‘what do other hairless animals look like?’ and found the results were equally disturbing.

 

But for many it was the bear that took the biscuit.

 

And for anyone who was wondering, the original picture was confirmed to BuzzFeed as being genuinely of an owl.

 

Jeffrey Meshach, of the World Bird Sanctuary, said: ‘It’s actually a great photo showing how much feathers change the appearance of a bird.’
