​The Brunei History Centre, PSB through the Borneo Study Centre, penBORNEO recently launched the Citra Borneo Exhibition Gallery. The gallery is a PSB initiative in taking more proactive steps towards enhancing the authority of national historical sources.

The Citra Borneo Exhibition Gallery displays a collection of national history materials, the Sultanate of Brunei and the history of Borneo that aims to improve the knowledge of the general public, especially in the field of historical study and research. The gallery is a platform to bring researchers and history enthusiasts closer and encourage them to carry out more extensive and detailed research on the history of Borneo.

While 222 paged 'Dari Jendela Borneo: Himpunan Kertas Kerja, Siri I penBORNEO' book contains a collection of working papers from three scientific history programmes, namely the penBORNEO Convention, Borneo History Talks, and Menyuluh Sejarah Brunei. The effort to publish the book fulfills the goal of establishing penBORNEO as a reference and study centre for the history of Borneo and further exploring a space that can help generate increased knowledge, especially writing on the remains of the past that have never been studied and are still scattered in this archipelago.
