Voting of Village Head

The 3-day Voting and selection of Village Head for Zone 3, Panchor National Housing Scheme in Mukim Mentiri ended on 28th April morning, with the counting of votes for the nominated candidates.

 

Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, Acting Brunei Muara District Officer in his speech emphasised that the village head is responsible for creating and maintaining understanding, unity and harmony in the community as well as encouraging the spirit of cooperation among the villagers. Awang Muhammad Hilmy bin Haji Ahmad was selected as Head of Village for Zone 3, RPN Panchor, Mukim Mentiri. Also present was a Member of the Legislative Council.

 

Meanwhile, in Temburong District, 147 out of 174 registered people were eligible to vote. The Voting and Selection for the Village Head of Kampung Amo, Mukim Amo was held at Amo Primary School. Among those present was Awang Muhammad Usamah bin Haji Sarbini, Acting Temburong District Officer. The sole candidate was Awang Hujan anak Muit, aged 58. The voting method was held via paper ballots, while the e-Undi PMKK mobile app took place on 26th of April.
