​The 12th World Environmental Education Congress, WEEC will be held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, United Arab Emirates, starting on 29th January until 2nd February. Representing Politeknik Brunei at the congress are a lecturer and two students. The delegation left the country on 28th January morning.

The delegation is led by Awang Muhammad Hazazi Rifaie bin Said, Lecturer at Politeknik Brunei. With the theme, 'Connecting People, Creating Tomorrow, the WEEC congresses offer significant experiences in connecting people from all over the world to discuss, learn and share the updates in education programmes surrounding environmental and sustainable development.
